Our Story

Groom's Version

It was 14 February 2021, Valentine’s Day, a day already wrapped in the scent of roses and the promise of love.
A friend had asked me for a simple favor: to drive him, his friend, and two young women, one being his friend’s girlfriend, and the other, supposedly, the girl my friend had his eye on. That girl… was Stacy, my wife-to-be.

From the driver’s seat, I stole a glance at her, and in that instant, my heart stumbled. She was breathtaking. Still, I held myself back, not wanting to step into my friend’s path. But time has a way of revealing destiny.

The more we crossed paths, the more I found myself drawn to her light. Eventually, I started a conversation, and it was like striking a match in a room full of stars. There was an instant spark, a warmth that wrapped around us. Our words flowed effortlessly, our laughter danced in the air, and with every smile she gave me, I felt I was coming home.

Since that day, we’ve been inseparable. Every moment has been a chapter in a love story only God could write, and from the very beginning, I knew in my heart… she was the one.

Brides' Version

It was 14 February 2021, Valentine’s Day, a day I wasn’t expecting much from. A friend had invited me to join her, her boyfriend, and two of his friends for a casual outing. One of them was driving, a quiet, focused man named Kuda.

From the moment I stepped into the car, I noticed him. He didn’t say much at first, but there was something about his presence, calm, steady, and warm. He kept glancing at me when he thought I wasn’t looking, and though I didn’t say it then, I felt a little flutter in my chest.

As time passed, we found ourselves in conversation. What started as small talk turned into a flow of words, laughter, and stories that felt strangely familiar  like we’d known each other for years. He made me laugh in a way that made my heart feel lighter, and I could see the joy in his eyes when I smiled.

From that day on, something in me knew this was different. This wasn’t just a chance meeting; it was the beginning of something God had planned long before we even knew it.

And now, as we stand on the edge of forever, I can say with certainty, meeting Kuda was the best Valentine’s gift I could have ever received.
